Rad Technician Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents in accordance to the community policies, federal, state and local standards
  • Administer and document medication
  • Facilitate care plans as dictated by residents' medical professionals
  • Manage the activities of individual caregivers at times
  • Respect and encourage the independence, dignity, and confidentiality of the residents
  • Familiarize with emergency equipment and procedures
  • Attend all required trainings, in-service, and staff meetings
  • Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of the facility or community
  • Perform other CNA duties as assigned


  • Rad Technician or state-specific licensed nurse credential
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of six (6) months experience working in a facility and unit related to nurse credential
  • Ability to make choices, decisions and act in the resident's best interest
  • Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understanding
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
